Jury rights outreach – Brentwood (7/27/15)

Today for the first time (though not for the Rights Brigade) I performed a jury rights outreach operation in Brentwood.

I passed out pamphlets informing jurors of their right to nullify bad laws, such as in cases of victimless crimes.

As the first date of the selection, the courthouse was quite busy. Jurors gladly accepted the pamphlets on their way in, with only one refusal.

On the way in, a young sheriff, on his way into the building, expressed curiosity as to what I was doing. I gave him a pamphlet and sent him on his merry way.

108 jurors, and one sheriff, were reached.
