Jury rights outreach – Manchester (10/26/15)

Today I once again conducted a jury rights outreach operation in Manchester.

Jury nullification is where a jury chooses not to convict a defendant regardless of the letter of the law. Jury rights activists inform jurors of this right by distributing informative pamphlets.

I arrived to a large line of jurors outside the courthouse, waiting to be screened through security. While initially confused, they became receptive quickly, especially when I started joking about the nippy weather. Most jurors were receptive, and none were hostile.

I reached 63 new jurors.
