I conducted a jury rights outreach operation in Nashua today.

Jury nullification is where a jury chooses not to convict based on their individual conscience rather than the letter of the law in a given situation. Jury rights activists inform jurors of this right by distributing informational pamphlets outside of courthouses during jury selections.

The courthouse was fairly busy because of a divorce case. One witness waited outside for a while to avoid contact with one of the parties he was testifying against. An incoming attorney requested a jury rights pamphlet.

65 jurors were reached.
