Rights Brigade activists conducted a jury nullification outreach operation in Nashua today.

Jury nullification is where a jury refuses to convict a defendant because the application of the law would yield an unjust result. Activists hand out pamphlets to prospective jurors outside courthouses during jury selections.

Randy Clemens, Melissa Ambroise, Don McCollough, Ellen Blanchard, and Carol Gardner were present and assisted in the operation. The five of them braved a snowstorm to conduct the outreach, and it went off without incident.

60 jurors were reached.
